Xtream Play ("we", "us", or "our") is a media player client. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and application, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Xtream Play, you agree to the practices described here.

• Account information: When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and a securely hashed version of your password.
• Usage data: We store your in-app preferences, settings, watch progress, and favorites so we can sync them across your sessions.
• Support communications: If you contact us, we keep the name, email, and message you provide so we can respond.

2. What We Do Not Collect

Xtream Play is strictly an empty-shell media player. We do not provide, host, or store IPTV content, channels, or playlists. Any third-party server credentials you enter are used only to connect you to your own provider and are never sold or shared.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and secure your account and verify your email address.
• To save and synchronize your settings, profiles, favorites, and watch progress.
• To send transactional emails such as verification codes, password resets, and welcome messages.
• To respond to your support requests.

4. Email Communications

We use email to deliver verification codes, password reset codes, and account notices. These are sent securely and are never shared with third parties for marketing.

5. Data Security

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and never in plain text. We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

6. Data Retention & Your Rights

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

Xtream Play is not intended for users under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Xtream Play website and application. By accessing or using Xtream Play, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Nature of the Service

Xtream Play is an empty-shell media player client only. We do not provide, host, sell, resell, or lease any IPTV subscriptions, channels, streams, playlists, or media content. To use the player you must supply your own legally obtained Xtream Codes server credentials from a provider of your choice.

2. User-Supplied Content

Xtream Play is not responsible for any content a user adds to, connects to, or accesses through this media center. All playlists, channels, streams, video-on-demand items, EPG data, artwork, and any other media made available inside the player originate exclusively from the third-party provider credentials that you supply. We do not review, curate, endorse, host, or distribute any of that content, and we accept no liability for its nature, accuracy, legality, or origin.

3. Acceptable Use

• You agree to use Xtream Play only to access content you are legally entitled to access.
• You are solely responsible for the legality of the streams and credentials you connect to the player.
• You may not use the service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe the rights of others.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and a valid email address during registration.

5. Third-Party Subscriptions & Quality of Service

We are not responsible for third-party subscriptions or for the quality of service delivered by any third-party provider. Any subscription, billing, or contractual relationship you have with an IPTV or media provider is strictly between you and that provider. Xtream Play has no control over — and assumes no liability for — third-party pricing, billing disputes, refunds, account suspensions, stream uptime, buffering, picture quality, channel availability, geographic restrictions, or any other aspect of a third-party service. Complaints about a provider's content or performance must be directed to that provider.

6. Xtream Play Subscriptions & Coupons

Certain player features may require a paid tier. Paid tiers unlock features of the player software only — they do not include, provide, or guarantee any media content. Promotional coupon codes are offered at our discretion and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. All fees, where applicable, are described at the point of purchase and are processed by our payment processor (Stripe). Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Xtream Play is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every third-party provider, device, or network.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xtream Play and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of profits, nor for any content accessed through third-party credentials you supply. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Xtream Play in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Xtream Play and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the content you add to the media center, the third-party services you connect, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property & DMCA

The Xtream Play software, branding, and design are our property. We respect intellectual-property rights: Xtream Play stores no media content, but if you believe the player is being used to infringe your rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond promptly.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these Terms or use the service unlawfully. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Settings.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

What is Xtream Play?

Xtream Play is a fast, modern empty-shell IPTV media player. It is a player only — it does not include, sell, or host any channels, movies, series, or playlists. You connect your own legally obtained Xtream Codes credentials from a provider of your choice, and Xtream Play gives you a beautiful interface to watch them in.

Does Xtream Play provide any TV channels or content?

No. We never provide, host, resell, or lease any content. Everything you see in the player comes from the third-party service whose credentials you entered. You are responsible for the content you add, and any subscription or quality-of-service questions belong with your provider — see our Terms of Service for details.

How do I connect my playlist?

Click Connect Playlist (or add a profile in Settings) and enter the three details your IPTV provider gave you: the server URL, your username, and your password. Xtream Play talks to the server using the standard Xtream Codes API and loads your Live TV, Movies, and Series automatically.

What's included in the Free tier?

Free accounts get the full player experience for a single playlist profile: Live TV with the EPG guide, Movies and Series browsing and playback, search, and watch history on your device. You can also personalize the app with accent theme colors from Settings — free for everyone.

Can I watch two channels at the same time?

Yes — Multiview is a Premium feature. Open a live channel, tap the multiview button, and pick a second channel; the two streams play side by side (stacked on phones). Tap a screen to give it the audio, and use the on-screen controls for full-screen in the browser or on your desktop. Each screen has its own play/pause, volume, and quality badges.

Can I change the app's colors?

Yes. In Settings you can pick an accent theme color for the whole app. Choose from seven colors — available on every plan.

What does Premium add?

• Multiview — watch two live channels side by side at the same time.
• Unlimited playlist profiles — switch between multiple providers or family setups.
• Unlimited favorites — favorite channels, movies, and series.
• Custom sorting, category & channel hiding — tidy up huge playlists.
• Parental controls — lock categories and channels behind a 4-digit PIN.
• Program reminders — get notified when a show in the TV Guide is about to start.
• Smart watch-progress sync — resume where you left off across devices.

How much does Premium cost?

Premium is a $16.99 one-time lifetime license (best value) or a $7.99/year subscription. Checkout is handled securely by Stripe, and coupon codes can be applied on the checkout screen.

Is Premium a content subscription?

No. Premium unlocks features of the player software only. It does not include any channels or media — you still need your own provider credentials.

How does the TV Guide (EPG) work?

If your provider publishes EPG data, Xtream Play loads it automatically and shows a full programme timeline. Tap any programme for details; on upcoming shows, Premium users can set a Remind Me alert and the player will notify them just before it starts.

What video formats are supported?

Live streams (HLS / MPEG-TS) and most MP4/MKV video-on-demand files play directly in the browser. Some MKV/AVI files are remuxed on the fly so they can play. If a particular file can't be played in the browser, the player offers an Open in VLC fallback so you can still watch it.

Why is a stream buffering or not loading?

Streams travel directly from your provider to your device — Xtream Play does not relay them. Buffering, missing channels, or downtime are almost always provider-side issues. Try another channel to confirm, check your connection, and contact your provider if it persists. We are not responsible for third-party quality of service.

Which devices can I use?

Xtream Play runs entirely in your browser, so it works almost everywhere — no app install needed. That includes desktop and laptop web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox), the web browser built into most smart TVs and TV boxes, and all mobile devices — phones and tablets, on both Android and iOS. The interface is fully responsive and adapts to any screen, and your account, profiles, and settings follow you when you sign in anywhere.

How do parental controls work?

Premium users can set a 4-digit PIN in Settings, then lock specific categories (e.g. adult content) or individual channels. Locked items require the PIN before they open, and hidden items disappear from browsing entirely.

How do I change my password or delete my account?

Open Settings from your avatar in the top-right of the player. You can change your password, upload an avatar, log out, or permanently delete your account from there.

I bought Premium — where is it?

Premium activates on your Xtream Play account immediately after checkout. If it doesn't show, sign out and back in. Still stuck? Contact us at contactus@neoncell.ca.
